Quick Lemon-Berry Cake

I'm a lazy cook. Just putting it out there. Well, actually it might not be laziness as much as I simply don't have time to be the Martha Stewart bake everything from scratch type of mom. So, today I was craving something sweet, but I should have been studying for a nursing exam and trying to get over this lovely virus I picked up this weekend. The result- a boxed cake doctored up.
What you'll need:
Boxed white cake mix
Packet of lemonade Crystal Light (2qt)
Duncan Hines frosting creations starter and strawberry shortcake flavor mix
1 cup of sliced strawberries
few tablespoons of sugar

What you'll do:
Make cake as directed but stir in the lemonade into the batter. Bake as directed in two 8-inch cake pans. Meanwhile, mash strawberries with sugar. Let sit while cake is baking. Mix frosting with flavor add in. After cakes are baked and cooked, put strawberry fruit mix between layers and frost cake normally. Enjoy!
